Eastern Cape family appeals to Bfn community to help find its epileptic missing relative─── PULANE CHOANE 14:29 Wed, 23 Jan 2019

A family from Venterstad in the Eastern Cape is pleading with the Bloemfontein community to assist them with finding their 47-year-old epileptic and asthmatic brother who is missing and was last seen in Bayswater over two weeks ago
According to Delie Pieterse, 47-year-old Manie Moses went missing on 12 January earlier this month after he got off a bus which was travelling to Johannesburg then made a pit stop at a petrol station near Northridge Mall in the suburb. Moses said that according to footage the garage provided to the family, the missing man got off the bus to go drink water at a nearby tap, only to find that the bus had left him when he returned to the spot where it had stopped. OFM News’ Pulane Choane reports that the man has since then not been seen and his family has been unable to make contact with him.
Pieterse said that it has been over 12 days since the family last saw Moses, who the family affectionately refer to as “Tondo” and she said the family is growing increasingly worried about his whereabouts as he often has epileptic fits and may also be prone to asthma attacks. To make matters worse, after recovering his luggage from the passenger bus line he was travelling in, his family discovered that all his medication were in his bags, meaning that at the moment he has no medication. Moses is said to be short and dark in complexion, with a beard. He will also respond to those speaking to him in Afrikaans or Xhosa as these are the only two languages he understands. Meanwhile, a missing person’s case has also been registered at the Navalsig Police Station in Bloemfontein.
