Free State artist S’NAZO has bagged a major gig on one of SABC1’s most-watched drama series, Skeem Saam with her debut album titled “I AM GOLD”.
The 25-year-old Sinazo Moloi, known as S'NAZO, is an Afro-Soul singer, songwriter and composer who is originally from Emthatha in the Eastern Cape.
She relocated to Bloemfontein and now holds a social sciences degree from the University of the Free State (UFS), majoring in criminology and sociology. S'NAZO told OFM News that her 11-track debut album "I AM GOLD" was released on 9 December 2022 under Pen Pal and now features in one of South Africa’s most-watched shows, Skeem Saam, which ranks third according to 2022 viewership statistics. She explained how she managed to get her album featured on the show.

“We pitched (the album) to them, we sent them an email, told them about the album and then they liked it, they approved. I’m super excited. One of the songs has already been played, it’s called “Love of my life”. I can't explain how excited I was to hear it. I wake up every day and think about music,” she said.
S'NAZO furher revealed that her Skeem Saam achievement comes after she was recently featured by Radio 2000 as #SoonToBeFamous on The Royal Playground hosted by David Mashabela and also formed part of Lesedi FM Breakfast Show’s #PaleYaLerato Valentine’s Month series, alongside the likes of Brian Temba and Donald.

“It’s a great validation for my sound to have such a huge production like Skeem Saam choose my album to create memorable moments for millions of South Africans. I am a religious viewer of the show and hearing my songs on it is a surreal feeling that I can’t explain," she concluded.
