Proteas target series win against Australia─── MORGAN PIEK 09:09 Wed, 05 Oct 2016

The Proteas cricket team have their sights locked on an elusive series win over Australia on Wednesday.
The Proteas lead the One-Day International series 2-0 following a 6-wicket win over the world champions in Centurion and a 142-run victory at the Bullring.
The VKB Knights batsman, Rilee Rossouw, who has opened the batting with Quinton de Kock in both ODI’s, says it’s important to beat Australia, especially with their tour Down Under in mind.
“Definitely, the guys have put in two serious performances in a row,” said Rossouw on targeting a series win.
“We’re ready for the third game and we want to wrap it up because Australia is the best team in the world. If you give them a sniff they are going to come back hard.
“We want to finish off the series and have a clean slate for games four and five.
Hashim Amla is expected to make his return to the team today after missing the first match due to flu and not being selected for the second match.
Rossouw says, should Amla return, he will move down the order with Amla opening the batting.
“I’ve not too sure, if Hash comes back I’ll probably slot into the middle order, but I'm not sure yet.”
Wednesday's third One-Day International between South Africa and Australia at Kingsmead in Durban is scheduled to start at 13:30.
