SABC reports that the R&B singer, who has faced charges of misconduct for two decades, was indicted by a grand jury in Cook County, Illinois. 

This after Cook County prosecutors reportedly received a videotape of the singer involved in acts with a 14-year-old girl.

The multi-award-winning musician has consistently denied the charges with a statement from his lawyer indicating that he never knowingly engaged with underage women or forced anyone to do anything. Multiple women have accused the 52-year-old singer of physical, mental and sexual abuse. 

His first court appearance is scheduled for March 8th.
