Mass demonstrations continue in Baghdad─── 05:33 Mon, 04 Nov 2019
In Iraq, the biggest wave of mass demonstrations since the fall of Saddam Hussein continues to play out on the streets of Baghdad.
Tens of thousands of Iraqi's have been protesting for weeks in Tahrir Square but their activities have increased dramatically in recent days.
Driven by discontent over economic hardship and corruption, the protests have resulted in the death of more than 250 people in October.
Demonstrators are calling for an end to the post-2003 political order.
Prime Minister, Abdul Mahdi, has promised reforms and a broad cabinet reshuffle.
But so far, that has failed to appease them.
