Trump is anticipated to take a flight from his Mar-a-Lago residence to New York City on Monday to face accusations relating to payments made to a porn actress as hush money.

As the first former US president to be charged with a crime, the 76-year-old leader is scheduled to be photographed, fingerprinted, and arraigned at a Manhattan courtroom on Tuesday.

Afterwards, he intends to travel to Florida where he will address his fans after his court appearance.

A grand jury decided to charge him over alleged offences linked to a $130,000 payment to pornographic film star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential election campaign, leading to his indictment.

It was purportedly given to Daniels in return for her silence regarding a purported sexual experience she claimed to have had with Trump ten years prior.

Trump has maintained that he did nothing illegal.
