Virginia - The body of Tony Teixeira of Welkom, who was abducted at gunpoint last Thursday, has been discovered in Virginia this morning.
Free State police spokesperson Stephen Thakeng, says Teixeira’s body was in a decomposed state when a mine security guard found him.
Teixeira was abducted by four unknown men who also robbed him of electrical appliances, cash and his Soyat bakkie in the early hours of the morning last Thursday.
A large scale manhunt was launched for the perpetrators, who are still at large.
