Bethlehem - The 17-year old boy suspected of involvement in the murder of retired Professor Daniel Wybenga will have his case tried separately from the two other adult accused in the case.
The teenager was arrested in Clarens on Saturday, and later released into his parents’ custody.

Free State police spokesperson Majang Skalkie says they are waiting for the Public Prosecutor’s decision on the matter.

Thabiso Makoetje and Simon Dlamini, who also stand accused of killing 69-year old Wybenga in his Clarens home on October 7th, will appear in the Bethlehem Magistrate's Court again tomorrow on charges of house robbery, murder and theft of a motor vehicle.

They remain in custody.
