Kimberley - Psichiatrist Larissa Panieri-Peter has resumed her testimony for the defence during sentencing proceedings in the Griekwastad murder trial.
A 17-year old boy has been found guilty of the murder of Deon, Christel and Marthella Steenkamp in April 2012. Panieri-Peter says the boy has shown no symptoms of conduct disorder prior to the incident.
She says there were no firearm incidents and no school disciplinary issues, no history of ADHD, psychiatric problems, or drug abuse.
She says he did have a subtle speech impediment as a child. According to her assessment, the family was of above average intelligence, but the boy was only of average intelligence.
