Parys murder: Three denied bail─── DANE BEISHEIM 11:53 Mon, 19 Jan 2015

Parys - Three men, including a father and son, arrested for allegedly killing Parys businessman Craig Marx have been refused bail in the local Magistrate’s court.
Coen van Aswegen Sr, his son Coen Jr, and David Kuyler will remain in custody in Sasolburg until their next appearance on February 2. The remaining two suspects, both minors, are in the custody of their guardians.
On December 4, Marx was allegedly ambushed by the group. Van Aswegen Sr, who owed Marx R10 000, his two sons and their friends allegedly assaulted him before wrapping him in plastic and dumping him alive in a storm water pipe about 15km outside Parys. An autopsy later showed he had most likely suffocated to death.
The suspects were later identified by CCTV footage. R20 000 had also been withdrawn from one of Marx's business accounts.
OFM News’ Dane Beisheim was at the court this morning.
