Bloemfontein - Central South Africans have been warned to brace themselves for winter to officially get underway this week.
The South African Weather Services' Michael Nethavhani says cold weather is already on its way, hitting the Western Cape.
He says wet conditions can be expected in the central parts of the country as the system gradually moves east. By Thursday low temperatures are expected in the central part of South Africa.
