Motsoeneng matter ’will end in ConCourt’─── 12:29 Fri, 18 Sep 2015

Bloemfontein - The legal representative of SABC Chief Operations Officer (COO) Hlaudi Motsoeneng says the matter relating to his appeal of a Western Cape High Court ruling ordering his suspension will end in the Constitutional court.
Motsoeneng's appeal against a High Court order that he be suspended pending a disciplinary hearing is set to be heard in the Supreme Court of Appeal (SCA) in Bloemfontein today.
In April he was granted leave to appeal the ruling and it was agreed that he could continue working.
Public Protector Thuli Madonsela found that the SABC board should take action against Motsoeneng but instead the board recommended that he be appointed as COO on a permanent basis.
