Peter Nthwane memorial service to be held on Thursday─── 13:55 Wed, 16 Nov 2016
Bloemfontein - A memorial service will be held on Thursday at the Sand du Plessis Theatre for slain jazz muso, Peter Nthwane.
The service, which is expected to begin at 12h00, will be held for people who will not be able to attend the funeral in Brandfort, hence the big venue was chosen.
This is according to Khahliso Pitso, the family spokesperson.
Although the details are not yet finalised, Pitso adds that the funeral will be held at his home in Brandfort on Sunday 20 November.
For those who would like to attend the prayer services, they will begin today from 18h00, also to be held at his main home at 11 Small Street, Brandfort.
Nthwane was killed at his second home in Phase 6 on Friday.
Police spokesperson, Thandi Mbambo, says no suspects have been arrested and urges anyone with information to come forward.
