Parys murder: No arrests yet─── CHRISTAL-LIZE MULLER 16:09 Fri, 10 Mar 2017

Parys - No arrests have been made yet in connection with the murder of Ronel Claassens, whose body was found in her house in Parys by her domestic worker, yesterday morning.
Free State police spokesperson, Livhuhani Hani, says Claassens body was found on her bedroom floor, with a cloth wrapped around her nose and mouth. 46-year-old Claassens owned two pawn shops in the town and hails from Botswana.
Parys Development Forum chairperson, Marius Pieters, says Claassen's death came as a huge shock to the close-knit community.
Hani says more suspects might be involved but at this stage police are only looking for one man who was seen driving Claassens' car on Wednesday night. Police members patrolling the streets noticed a suspicious looking car driving without its headlights on. They tried to stop it but the driver stopped the vehicle with Botswana number plates and ran away. A television and electrical appliances belonging to Claassens were found inside the car.
