Possible French companion for 'war lion'─── 15:18 Wed, 10 Oct 2018

Four Paws welcomes a new lioness to their Big Cat Sanctuary, Lionsrock, on Thursday.
She was confiscated in 2017 in France at the residence of a man who trained wild animals and sold them to circuses.
Nala was rescued by Animal Advocacy and Protection (AAP) and completed her rehabilitation in Spain.
Country Director of Four Paws South Africa, Fiona Miles, says Nala will be socialised with Saeed at Lionsrock and the organisation hopes a love story will unfold. Saeed was rescued from war-torn Syria and released at Lionsrock earlier this year.
Approximately 100 rescued big cats live at L Lionsrock. They come from zoos, circuses and breeding facilities and private keeping. Most of them have suffered from terrible keeping conditions and malnutrition.
