N1 closed after collision at Springfontein─── 14:22 Tue, 25 Aug 2009
Springfontein - The N1 between Gariep Dam and Springfontein has been closed after a horrific collision between two trucks and a car. The police's Roeline Kuhn says the accident happened at stop-go road works just after 11 this morning, 15 km outside Springfontein. Two people who were waiting in a car died instantly when a truck rammed into it from the rear.
