Deputy Minister of Health to visit NW Hospital tomorrow─── 14:56 Fri, 24 Dec 2010
Deputy Minister of Health, Dr Gwen Ramokgopa, will visit the Job Shimankana Tabane Hospital in the North West tomorrow as part of the department’s tradition to celebrate Christmas day births. During her visit, Ramokgopa will highlight the importance of injury prevention. She will also visit the casualty unit to assess the rate of injuries and deaths addressed by health workers in public hospitals during this festive season. In KwaZulu-Natal, Provincial Health MEC Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo will visit Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital to congratulate mothers on their Christmas babies.
