The owner of a tavern in Schweizer Reneke where ten people died in a New Year’s Day stampede is back in court today. James Thembiso Lepholletse faces several charges of culpable homicide. Seven young men and three women were trampled to death at the Basotho tavern in Ipelegeng. They were between the ages of 18 and 25. The MEC earlier visited the families of the ten youths.
