Bethlehem - Two men were killed and a third was injured when the articulated truck they were travelling in overturned on the N5 near Elandsrivier between Bethlehem and Harrismith last night. Common cause information suggests that the driver lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a bend. The heavy goods vehicle overturned and skidded to a halt in the roadway. Paramedics arrived at the scene to find one man had clambered from the crushed cab. Two other men were heavily entrapped and died prior to the arrival of medics. The injured man was treated and stabilised at the scene before being transported to the Harrismith State Hospital.
