Overall levels across the country are low at present.

In Bloemfontein, problems with the spore trap rendered the findings from this site unreliable. However, historical data from the same time period in January shows that it is likely that the grass pollen levels were high.

In Kimberley, grass pollen levels were high and several de-gra-nu-la-ting grains were detected. Low tree counts were detected and included bayberry and jacaranda. Weed and mould counts were also low but significant Al-ter-na-ria levels were detected.
