As a photographer, Lance has worked at many different events, putting together his portfolio and building a client base that loves his work. One of these would be clients requested his services for her wedding back in 2019 and because Lance had all the needed capabilities to deliver, he gladly accepted to provide the services and did what he does best.

Fast forward 4 years, a world-wide lockdown and Covid-19 regulations later, Lance received a text that came with a rather bizarre request. The request was that he refund the lady who hired him for her wedding back in 2019, because she had since been divorced and the photographs were no longer needed.

We could probably just write the entire text exchange for you here, but would you actually believe us? Figured so, so we decided to grab the conversation as posted by Lance himself on his twitter account.

YEP! We know, it all looks a bit too weird right? We should've dropped this story into the "Weird Wide Web" section of things. However, the story does not end there at all. Even though Lance tries to explain that a refund would not be possible, the disgruntled client insists that she is entitled to the refund, going as far as involving her lawyers in the mix.

Needless to say, the client did not receive the refund as requested and instead of somehow messing things up for Lance, she actually got him a lot of business because we wouldn't be talking about Lance, if she hadn't requested that refund.
