This 10km specialist did not compete last year due to a busy season, however, she will be running for the first time this year.

Recently Moletsane conceded her national Spar Women’s 10km Challenge title to Glenrose Xaba following a thrilling series.

Moletsane told OFM Sport that she will step out of her comfort zone and run the half marathon.

“I am really looking forward to the 10th of November when I will be running the 21.1km at the Music Marathon.

“I am very unfamiliar with half marathon as I am used to running 10km races. I am just trying out some new stuff at the moment as it is my off-season and I am looking to get as much distance as possible in my training.

“It is good to be back and to be competing at home.

“I’ve been away quite a while now travelling all over South Africa showcasing my talent and entertaining the world.

“It think that is should be exciting for me, and it should be exciting for everyone.”

The Music Marathon will start and finish at the Tempe Military base in Bloemfontein, and runners can compete in one of the 42.2km marathon, 21.1km half marathon, 10km race or the 5km fun run.
