The Springboks are expected to move up to 4th in the latest World Rugby rankings.

The Springboks beat Argentina 37-15 on Saturday in Port Elizabeth in their opening match of the Rugby Championship.

This should be enough to see the men in green-and-gold climb to 84.51 points and replace the Wallabies in 4th.

Following their 54-34 defeat to the All Blacks in Sydney, the Wallabies drop down to 5th on 84.21 points.

A lot has been said about the new culture and good team environment in the Springbok camp, but according to the captain, Eben Etzebeth, it’s also important to have the right mind-set heading into the future.

“I think we had to get momentum going into this weeks’ game.

“We need to get it off our back that it’s going to be difficult in Argentina.

“We need to prepare well, gets our mind-sets right and believe that we can get a victory.

The Springbok have won all four of their Tests thus far in 2017 and will believe that they can set the record straight following a poor 2016.

The Pumas host the Springboks on Saturday evening in Salta, while the All Blacks tackle the Wallabies at the Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin.
