Former Bosasa CFO Andries van Tonder says the controversial company used the word 'chicken' as code for cash.
Van Tonder is testifying at the state capture inquiry.
Van Tonder also described how the company bought a VW Polo for the daughter of Correctional Services CFO, Patrick Gillingham.
He said Bosasa CEO Gavin Watson instructed to make this purchase happen.
He also gave details on how this money was exchanged fraudulently between Equal Trade Limited and Bosasa.
They invoiced for goods that didn't exist.
