Presidency responds to EFF threat to disrupt #Sona─── 07:06 Wed, 06 Feb 2019
The Presidency says any threat to disrupt the State of the Nation Address is undermining the institutions that have been set up to deal with challenges.
This comes after the EFF threatened to disrupt President Cyril Ramaphosa’s speech in parliament on Thursday.
This is in a bid to force Ramaphosa to take responsibility for the money he received from Bosasa during his ANC presidential campaign.
The Presidency said the event should be accorded the decorum and the dignity that it deserves.
Presidency spokesperson Kusela Diko said the EFF should allow the public protector to conclude her investigation into the matter.
