SAA: Unions threaten court action─── 13:17 Sat, 25 Apr 2020
The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa and the SA Cabin Crew Association are threatening to take Business Rescue Practitioners at South African Airways to court.
This after they tabled a proposal to terminate the entire SAA workforce.
Unions are accusing the practitioners of failing to save the national carrier.
They say there's a sinister agenda to close the airline and strip it of its assets.
The unions rejected the proposal to retrench workers.
