Three suspects are expected to appear in a Mpumalanga court on Tuesday, after allegedly stealing millions of litres of diesel.
The trio - aged between 28 and 43 - were arrested in Witbank on Monday for stealing diesel worth R1.4 million.
It is alleged that the diesel was stolen from Transnet pipelines in Mpumalanga and the Free State.
Mpumalanga Hawks spokesperson Dineo Sekgotodi says the accused were found with two trucks full of diesel and a generator.
"All three suspects will be appearing at the Vosman Magistrates court on Tuesday, for the alleged possession of suspected stolen diesel," says Sekgotodi.
