Motion to evaluate PP's fitness considered─── 11:21 Tue, 16 Mar 2021
The National Assembly will on Tuesday consider a motion on whether to investigate Busisiwe Mkhwebane's fitness to hold office.
Last week, an independent panel announced it found there is enough prima facie evidence to probe Mkhwebane's competence as Public Protector.
The panel was appointed by Parliament following an application by the DA for a motion of no confidence against her.
It comes after several scathing court judgments against the Public Protector and her findings.
The ANC caucus has announced it will support the motion.
