The Health Department reported over 4,500 cases in the last 24 hours.
Sadly, 123 more people have died, taking South Africa's death toll to 56,293.
SA's COVID-19 recovery rate is at 93.8 percent.
Meanwhile, almost 900,000 South Africans are vaccinated.
Almost 480,000 of those, under the Sisonke Protocol.
Over 400,000 senior citizens have received their first Pfizer jab.
