The Health Department said 3,614 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded.
This brings the total number of active cases across the country to 48,911.
Gauteng accounts for most of these.
The department said 95 more people have died, taking the death toll to 56,601.
Over 1.5 million people have already recovered.
Phase 2 of the vaccine rollout continues.
