The Cape Town City FC goalkeeper, Shu-Aib Walters, has been linked with a move to the Nedbank Cup champions, Free State Stars.
Walters and the Citizens are set to part ways at the end of this month. The club from the Mother City is said to be interested in the Emil Velic from Slovenia.
The Ea Lla Koto keeper, Thela Ngobeni, could be returning to his parent club, Mamelodi Sundowns, leaving the team looking for an experienced shot-stopper.
City have already indicated that they will most likely not be offering Walters a new contract at the end of this move.
Free State Stars have already contracted Mpho Maruping from Bloemfontein Celtic, as well as Ricardo Ndiki and Tshepo Tema from Cape Town All Stars.
The Bethlehem-based club has also expressed their interest in contracting the Celtic and Namibian internataional midfielder, Deon Hotto.
