Binder excited to see brother join MotoGP─── MORGAN PIEK 07:56 Fri, 20 Aug 2021

Darryn Binder, the younger brother of the South African MotoGP star, Brad, could be set for a massive promotion next year.
The 23-year-old Darryn is currently racing in the Moto3 class, but he could be joining his older brother next season.
Normally the riders from Moto3 advance to Moto2 before getting a crack at MotoGP, and those are the lucky ones.
He has spent the past few days in Brno testing and is the number one choice to occupy the Yamaha YZR-M1 seat that the Sepang Racing Team have available.
Speaking to OFM Sport from Andorra, the Red Bull KTM star, Brad, said that he would love to have Darryn racing in the same class.
“It's going to be super cool. Darryn has just finished testing in Brno. He did a few days there on a R1.
“He actually just got home about 20 minutes ago. So, I haven't really had a chance to go through everything with him and see how everything went.
“It would be super cool to have my brother on the grid with me next year.
“Nothing is done yet and if I could come through I'd super happy. That would be amazing.”
Both of the Potchefstroom-born brothers are currently occupying the sixth pace in the standings in their respective classes.
