Toy train sets are probably some of the most interesting toys you can find out there.  They keep your little one busy, but can also keep you entertained as well. This is proven by 53 year old businessman Simon George. Reported on engoo.com, Simon spent 8 years and over 5 million rand building a model train track which is based on a 2.4 kilometre section of railway tracks in Yorkshire that he remembers from his childhood.

According to the article, the model is designed to look the way the area did in 1983. George looked at about 500 photographs of the railway that were taken at that time to make sure that everything in his model was correct. He even found a photo of himself watching a train there as a child — which he has included in the model.
