Camila Cabello celebrated her latest single Havana going to Number1 on the Official Singles Chart at this year's Music Industry TrustsAward. 

The singerpicked up her Official Number 1 Award at last night's ceremony, which tookplace in London's Grosvenor House Hotel.

Camila alsoperformed the track along with new song Never Be The Same at this year's event,which also saw her label boss Simon Cowell in attendance alongside the likes ofMark Ronson, Paloma Faith, Manic Street Preachers and London Grammar. 

"Oh mygod... I'm beyond over the moon. I'm so happy. I'm so excited!" She toldOfficial Charts. "I'll definitely be celebrating with my team. 

"Rightnow I'm getting ready backstage to do a performance, but whenever we find outamazing news like this we definitely flap - we scream!" 

Camila told us she'd heard the news that Havana had reached Number1 on a rare day off at home with her family. "We all went crazy," shesaid. "You have to celebrate things like this because you never know ifit's going to happen again. 

"Mymum screamed. My dad doesn't scream, but there were hugs - and maybe a smallscream from him in a masculine, fatherly way." 

Camila isgearing up to release her debut album in early 2018. Discussing the record,she recently told us in an interview: "You only have onechance to make a debut album and at this point I have so many songs I’mpassionate about.

"Youknow those albums where there are clearly songs that aren’t as good as thesingles? I want every song to be single-worthy."

Havana ison course for a second week at Number 1 on the OfficialSingles Chart, fending off competition from Post Malone’s Rockstar and RitaOra’s Anywhere. Camila’s debut album is expected to be released in early 2018.
