What’s new in Farmer’s Weekly?─── CHRISTAL-LIZE MULLER 06:22 Fri, 08 Feb 2019
In our Friday insert only on Before Dawn, OFM News’ Christal-Lize Muller speaks to Farmer's Weekly editor, Denine Erasmus, about what to expect in their latest edition...
Listen to Erasmus sharing a preview of their news, livestock, crop, and feature section. In the 15 February 2019 issue of Farmer's Weekly there are a number of stories about the impact of the drought on summer grain production farmers which resulted into Nigeria overtaking SA as the largest maize producer in Sub Sahara Africa this year. There are also stories from the fruit industry including table grape farmers who are facing, what they call, a perfect trading storm. Newly qualified veterinarians serving their compulsory community service in the Free State share their views in the news section.
That was Denine Erasmus, editor of Farmer's Weekly, on OFM. To listen to this insert again, go to ofm.co.za, click on News, Agriculture, and Before Dawn. To listen to other inserts go to ofm.co.za, click on News, Agriculture and Before Dawn.
