A survivor of a farm attack during which she was wounded and raped is convinced her two sons, who were present during the brutal attack, would never want to farm in South Africa.
The woman, who cannot be identified in terms of a court order, shared her nightmare experience during AfriForum's media information session this week. AfriForum also used the opportunity to release its midyear statistics on farm attacks and murders. During the information session, the woman told the disturbing events of the night when she and her children were attacked by a man in their farmhouse in the Hankey area in the Eastern Cape. Her husband was on a hunting trip at the time.
