#FarmAttacks increased in May, followed by more attacks early June─── CHRISTAL-LIZE MULLER 05:40 Thu, 06 Jun 2019
The number of attacks on farms and smallholdings across South Africa has increased to 51 in May this year, with more of these attacks already reported this month.
Together with that, a total of 184 farm attacks, including 20 farm murders, have taken place between January and May this year. This was revealed during the civil rights organisation AfriForum’s midyear farm attack statistics for 2019, which were announced at a media conference in Centurion this week.
