North West communities are now benefiting from projects that focus on promoting food security.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development's spokesperson in the province, Emelda Sethlako, says four community institutions will under the wings of the North West Department of Agriculture and Rural Development be able to produce nutritious vegetables for themselves. These food security projects were handed over by MEC, Desbo Mohono, at the Emmanuel Disabled and Old Age Centre in the Jouberton Township last week. This was to mark the Mandela Day commemoration.
