Agri Northern Cape holds annual congress in Kimberley
Not only the national government but the provincial government as well failed to provide disaster funding to the province, said Nicol Jansen, president of Agri Northern Cape, at the organisation's annual congress in Kimberley.
This comes after Agri Northern Cape already in 2018 requested an extension of drought relief from April to June the same year.
He said the response was that government could not provide support because the rainy season for the summer rainfall area of the Northern Cape will start soon.
