She highlights the November 15 issue of the magazine and focuses on a news article about the Minister of Finance, Tito Mboweni's Medium Term Budget Policy Statement and the reactions and repercussions it holds for the agriculture industry. It includes announcements made by rating agencies after the statement was presented in Parliament. Erasmus says there is still a lot of uncertainty and very little was said by Mboweni about agriculture.  

Erasmus also highlights a news story about South Africa's largest rabbit farming business which has gone into liquidation, leaving many rabbit farmers who had contracts with to deliver rabbits to this farming business, in a very difficult situation.

Farmer’s Weekly also has a news story about the production boom that has been experienced in the blueberry industry.
