According to him the necessary health measures will ensure the safety of employees and the public. Together with that the Chief Registrar, Carlize Knoesen, has given her assurances that the implementation of the necessary health measures is at an advanced stage.
He says Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, the Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA), instructed that municipal offices must also reopen and this will probably happen in conjunction by the time deed offices reopen. Then processes will be seamless in terms of what is required from the municipal offices and what has to be submitted through the deeds offices.
