Nthabiseng Kgobokoe, a 33-year-old farmer from Mahikeng in North West, believes there are great opportunities in agriculture for young female farmers.

Kgobokoe is a law graduate who decided to pursue her dream in agriculture.

She founded Batswana Farms and Training in 2013.

This inspirational young farmer prioritised her farming business while ensuring that youth, particularly young black women, play a part in agriculture.

She produces diverse commodities such as spinach, lettuce, carrots, beetroot, tomatoes, broccoli, and cauliflower, among others. She also farms with goats, sheep, pigs, cows, and chickens.
