Offering: Man dies under mysterious circumstances at initiation school─── OLEBOGENG MOTSE 10:13 Fri, 03 Jan 2020
The 32-year old Bloemfontein man reported to be the latest casualty in a season of initiation school deaths was seen hallucinating before he was found dead with bruises on his body.
Police spokesperson, Motantsi Makhele, says the 32-year old, Makume Molise, from phase 10 township in Bloemfontein was attending an initiation school located in Lourierpark at the time of his death.
Makhele says the deceased’s fellow initiates indicate that Makume was acting hysterical on Christmas night before he ran away from the premises of the school.
He was later found dead, by the same group of initiates. It isn’t clear what transpired that night.
Makhele says the investigation into the matter is continuing and arrests are imminent.
Meanwhile, the 33-year old man, alleged to have stabbed another man at an initation ritual gone wrong in Qwa Qwa will reappear before the Makwane Magistrate Court on the 6 January 2020 for formal bail application.
The accused is alleged to have stabbed 32-year old Masithela Ndande Nchaupe to death following an altercation which reportedly was started by the deceased.
