Matric scripts recovered in the FS─── TSHEHLA KOTELI 16:14 Wed, 12 Jan 2022
Every single matric exam paper was recovered after the hail storm hit the marking center of the Albert Moroka Secondary School, in Thaba Nchu, in the Free State.
The announcement was made by the MEC for the Free State Department of Education, Tate Makgoe, during his visit at the school on Wednesday. He wants to promise the public that every single learner will receive their true mark, and there is no need to panic.
Makgoe’s visit to the school was the last stop for the day as he was visiting some of the schools in the province. He visited Credence Primary School and Lereko Secondary School in Bloemfontein earlier. His visit to all three schools was to check if all is in order, but his reason for visiting Albert Moroka was to check the damage the hailstorm caused at the school while it was used as a marking centre of 2021's matric exam papers.
