The department has continuously issued messages to road users to be careful on that road, to respect the warning signs and speed limit due to road works on site. We have seen little cooperation which resulted in accidents and a loss of lives.
Law enforcement authorities will continue to maximise visibility on this road in order to deal with those who violate the law.
