#Lion still on the loose in the Free State─── TSHEHLA KOTELI 12:53 Sat, 30 Apr 2022

The Free State police are still on the lookout for a lion on the loose after it escaped from a farm in Vrede on Friday.
Police spokesperson, Mmako Mophiring, informed OFM News on Saturday that they still haven’t received any report indicating the lion has been captured.
OFM News reported on Friday that two of the three lions that had escaped were successfully captured.

Mophiring earlier said nature conservation and the police are updated regularly about the process of recapturing the lion.
He added that the lion is still believed to be on the farm premises and there is no need to panic over the situation.
