Free State police are appealing for help to find a missing teenager from Theunissen.
Vuyo Yeko (19) was last seen by his mother when he informed her that he was going to the shop, but he never returned.
Yeko left home on Thursday, 14 March last year. He was last seen wearing khaki trousers, a green shirt, and blue and green Vans sneakers at the time of his disappearance.
“Police request assistance from the public in locating Vuyo Yeko, who has been reported missing,” said Free State police spokesperson Mahlomola Kareli. The person missing is dark in complexion, slender, tall, and with short black hair.”
Anyone with information that may help in bringing Vuyo Yeko home should contact Det. Sgt. Nnana Thekiso on 071 442 9749 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.

Meanwhile, Free State police are still searching for Paul Basson (38), who went missing on Friday, 7 June, in Bloemfontein.
Basson was reported missing by his ex-girlfriend after he was evicted from his rented accommodation. His employer also confirmed that he was last seen leaving work on the same day.
“Basson is originally from Wynberg in Cape Town, and it is understood that he has been living in Bloemfontein for the past five years,” said Kareli. He was reported missing after he failed to return home from work on the same day.”

“He was last seen going to work wearing brown jeans, a grey jacket, black shoes, and a black cap. His ex-girlfriend reported him missing after he failed to return home from work.”
Police are urging anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Paul Basson to contact Det. Const. Marcia Mphulenyane on 078 840 8933 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111. Police advise that anyone who suspects a loved one has gone missing should immediately report them as missing at their nearest police station.
The report must be accompanied by the latest photograph of the missing child or adult, along with information on what they were wearing and where they were last seen.
