The Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project has made it easy for people around the world to make donations.
Charlize Theron is rallying global support for the victims of KwaZulu-Natal's recent floods.
The South African-born actress took to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal that the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP) will be collecting donations.
"My home of South Africa is going through an extraordinarily difficult time, and while I know much of the world is in pain right now, and a lot is being asked of us as global citizens, I'm hoping you'll find it in your heart to help," the 46-year-old wrote.
She hopes to bring "immediate support and resources" to the province.

"Last week, the most devastating floods on record struck the KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) province, killing almost 450 people and displacing thousands. For my organization @ctaop we see our most critical role as supporting our Partners in whatever challenges they face – and right now, organizations in KZN are reeling, trying to support their communities however they can, as affected families desperately need food, water, and shelter."
The Oscar winner says CTAOP has created an easy way for people from all over the world to donate.
"100% of these funds will go directly to this effort – NO fees. Please help by GIVING what you can, and/or SHARING this post or the fundraiser to spread the word."
So far, Charlize's KZN Relief fund has raised more than R100 000.
