According to a Facebook post from the Stapleford Fire Station in England, a crew was dispatched "to a complaint of a man with his hand jammed down the back of a sofa."

According to the post, firefighters were able to assist the man in removing his hand. Despite having "slight reddening to his hand," the post stated that he wasn't gravely hurt.

"It really isn't just fires, I am pleased we were able to help the male without hurting him further or damaging his sofa," firefighter Gavin Wilson said in the Facebook post.
