Fochville - School children have now also joined a protest at Kokosi township outside Fochville where residents are threatening to move onto land that was earlier promised to them.
Police spokesperson Elsie Tshonte says more than 500 people have barricaded roads into Kokosi with burning tyres and were also throwing stones at vehicles travelling towards Fochville on the N12.
She says police and traffic officials are monitoring the crowd.
Tshonte says school children, who could not leave the area due to the road closures, have now also joined the protest.
